Going to be a mommy
Ok so I went to the doctors yesterday to confirm that indeed I am going to be a mommy. Had a sonogram done and it seems like I am 5 to 6 weeks pregnant... My husband went with me, he was soo excited to see the baby on the monitor... For the past week I have been so tired and my back has been aching soo much..This week the sickness and the ability to smell everything from 1000 yards away is kicking in... Jin and I are going to start clearing out the small room to turn it into the nursery.. I decided that I am going to log my pregnancy experience on here.. my one and only picture will be up soon. Verizon
Wow on December 11, 2007, I signed up for Verizon phone, cable and internet services..It is now almost Feb. and it has not been installed. They have lied to me 4 times now saying that they are coming for installation. I have wasted about 17 hours of waiting for a teck to come and hook up this service....Called customer service and I get bounced to another and another. Regional and district manager do not call me back...Even their executive office do not return my call. Anyone who has Verizon??? Is this really worth my time or should I just cancel?? spike
My dog Spike, Yesterday while walking spike on Braddock road in Centreville. Spike came loose from his collar and ran into the street and got hit instantly and died. Right in front of me..I got spike as a v-day present from my how husband about 2 years. Spike would have been 2 in about 2 weeks. I never thought that I would be this hurt over a dog, as most people would say it is just a dog. But I am taking this really bad. I was unable to sleep all night, it was just running through my head all night. Just flashbacks of Spike getting loose from the collar then hit by the car. The good thing was the teenager that hit Spike did stop. He locked his car keys in his car, so he was not able to take be to the vet. He did offer me his cell phone to call, but I just could not bring myself to call my husband. Because I knew Spike was gone from the minute I picked him up from the street. As, I was picking spike up from the street, 2 cars almost hit me. The funny thing was you would not be able to miss me from a mile away. I was in a big white sweater, screaming for someone to help me. but one stopped but the guy that hit my dog. A cop did show up about 20 minutes later, but he could careless about my dog. He only asked the teenager if their was any damages to his car. I begged the officer to take me to the nearby vet which is probably about a 2 minute drive. but he said that he could not but can call animal control..What a fuckin asshole. Finally the boys mother showed up with the spare key to open the car and the guy that hit my dog took my to the vet. There must have been 40 cars that passed me, but now one asked if they can help..What happen to all the nice people out there??? I always ask if i can help when I see an accident. (besides on the highway)See if they need to use a cellphone. I called my husband after the vet told me that spike was gone. He asked me several times if I was joking with him. I told him no. I am pretty sure he did not want to believe it himself. He left the resturant to come say his goodbyes to Spike. We left the vet and we just came home. I cried all night. I am pretty sure he did too, but hid it from me, cause he wanted to be the strong one. I am not sure if things happen for a reason as many people would say. The reason my spike broke loose from his collar was because we were in an unknown walking route and a guy was walking towards us wearing all black with a hoodie over his head. Maybe he know something bad was going to happen and had an instinct and wanted to drag me the other way. I really do miss my princess Spike. Einstin is my other dog a teacup poodle who i got 2 months after Spike, he was whining like a mad do at the vet. I wonder if dogs know??? He has been doing good so far. On occassion he will wonder around the house looking for spike.. for those who are reading this sorry if I do not make any sense or jumping around. This is the product of an upset person. I feeling really empty inside. I guess its because something has been taken from my heart. I treated Spike as if he was my little princess. My mother use to always tell me I treat my dogs as if they were my children..Taking them to the doctors, getting hair cuts, and taking them to play at the park and walking around the block. Making them special dinners which would rice and Ham... I am normally a really tough person and hardly ever cry. but now I just can stop crying. I have decided to write about it to help ease my pain a little. I was reading my post about when I first got Spike and how I wanted to return him cause he was such a snobby dog. Looking at pictures that have been taken. ONe thing was that dog loved to take pictures. My mood right now. I do feel much better after writting. Still very much Angry at the cop. puppy
So, I have had my puppy for about a 5 days..I have taught my puppy to obey these commands- come, sit, and up..It took a couple packages of dog treats but in knows it..I have also trained my puppy to go on the pee pad and outside..so far for the past 3 days there have not been any accidents in the house..It has either been outside or on the pee pad..that has cost me many dog crackers... I was told that my dog was stuck up..he is not stuck up he is just a puppy and afraid..When people come over he hides under the table, but after you ignore him for awhile he comes out and sits by your feet.. Having a puppy is hard work..I have realized that now..My dog also has a cold to top everything off...good thing I have Jin around to be the mean one and give my puppy the medication.. My puppy does not know how to eat from the dog bowl yet...I guess I have been spoiling him by hand feeding him all of those doggie treats.. Current Mood: happy |

VDAY Gift
My awesome Fiancee got me a puppy for Vday.. He had to give it to me early cause he did not want anyone to purchase the dog.. you can view my dog at http://profiles.myspace.com/users/5879409. Its a Lhasa Apso and we named him spike.. As for as wedding planning.. I have booked the reception hall already.. I have fallen into the typically Viet wedding reception..It will be held at Harvest Moon..and my wedding date for sure is August 13th..already put down a down payment and everything... Bad DAy
I went to the mall friday night, because I wanted some lipgloss..I am and addicted to lipgloss. I was sephora, love that store because it carries my favorite lip gloss..Then I found out that my lipgloss was no longer there..Bourgois #97..So, if anyone knows where I will be able to find it..Let me know..I took the rest of my hour of shopping looking for a shade that is simliar to it..If I am ever able to find it again. I will buy it in Bulk.. I hope that they did not discontinue it. On a good note.. I have decided that I am going to be having my wedding at Fox Chase Manor located in Manassas..It is a really nice place and holds up to 600 people..(www.foxchasemanor).. I found some nice bridesmaid dresses..Yes they are going to be pink..Really cute, but I need to get togather with all of them to make sure that they will like it.. the good part is it is from Macy's bridal collection and its for under 70 bucks I think...I will have to meet with them to see if they like it first. I have a little party for all my girlies.. Current Mood:  accomplished |

wedding stuff
So, I need to decide on my maid of honor and bridesmaid..How many should I have.. Seeig that I do not have that many girlfriends to choose from..I know Anita is going to be one of my bridesmaid and Also Maria..And my aunt wants to do it too..She has been married before..Should she be a bridesmaid..Then on the other hand I do have my friend Yolanda..so now I am up to 4 people...And also Carmela, but she just had a baby and she is married...Now I am up to maybe 5..Seems like too many to me. my wedding plans
So far, I am stressing out over trying to find a place to have my reception. I had everything all planned for November 26th as my wedding date, but now do to some family members not being able to make it due to having business and can not close for the holidays. I am forced to have my wedding in September..Talk about this is suppose to be my day... So, Saturday is going to set me back if it decides to snow..I am suppose to go hunting for reception hall places..I need ideas on where to have it..I will be going to Wyndham hotel in DC..Which is really nice, but not sure what the cost is.. Since I am Vietnamese traditionally the reception is normally held at some Chinese Resturant, but I am a rebel and going to break it.. I found some really neat party favors to give out on at my reception,which is great and cheap too.. As for the Fiancee and myself, we are doing good..he is trying his best to help me plan this wedding..but then again we are getting to many advices from soo many people and it really sucks.. I just need help planning this wedding. And hiring a wedding planner is just not in my budget...I have asked around to see how much it cost and it is anywhere between 1000 to 6000 bucks..Then when I asked them what they are going to do for me..It really comes out to nothing..So the are pointless to me..And besides I would rather use that money on my honeymoon...Since we are going to go on a tour of Asia..Extra money for shopping.. Interviews
I have just been on about 9 interviews since last thursday.. I am going on another interview on Monday.. All the position are similar. Its all in the sales department..So I am hoping that I will get many offers.. the pay range goes from 40K to 52K a year for these positions that I have applied.. Hopefully I will get lucky and get an offer at the 52K spot.....Everyone is making their decision by Monday or Tuesday of next week.... |

Condo
So I was a landlord for 6 weeks, then my guys move out cause they found an apartment. So, Jin has been painting the condo and I went over to help him last night..One thing that I have noticed about our condo is that the carpet really sucks..I would like to get new carpet installed as soon as possible. We went to Lowes and spent well over 400 bucks on painting supplies and a ceiling fan...but this will be all worth it in the end... |

all day yesterday, I have been sending out my resume to all these different places..hopefully I will get a call back for an interview.. I got many offers in Rockville, MD..Which is way too far for my butt to be driving out to.. I have decided to apply for Independence Air for a few of their position..sounds very interesting to me...so I am going to go for it..But other then that that I have not been doing much.. I am going to Atlantic City this weekend for Jin's Bday...Oh this is going to be fun... |

Cable VS. DSL
Ok, I am moving into my new condo in October..planning all the stuff that I have to do...But not too sure on which service to go by...the area offers both DSL and Cox Cable...In a bind and do not know which to get..Verizon has an awesome deal...Cox is always down...They say cable is the best..and some say DSL.. Any opinions??? |

not to take the job
I have decided not to take the job that was offer to me, because of the whole citizenship process..It was just going to take tooo long...Hell all I have left is to swear in, but those retards at the INS is telling me I have to wait till a letter is sent out..What do they swear people in once a freaken year???????????Did I also say that INS workers are mean and rude...Waiting there for the majority of my day and got nothing out of them... Anyways, back looking for jobs..So if anyone knows of any openings for an Administrative position..Let me know...I have applied for a Business Anaylsis position, but the hiring lady has a friend who has also applied...In the practical world they would take skills over anything..but not in reality, Its who you know... |
